Data Security and Data Management Policy


Purpose:
To protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information processed by Virtue Ally, in compliance with regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (European Union) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Definitions:

  • Sensitive Data: Information that includes personally identifiable, financial, or health-related data, such as names, surnames, contact phone numbers, email addresses, physical location, and any other data related to communication, location, and identity.
  • Security Breach: Unauthorized access to or loss of information.

Clauses:

  • Restricted Access: Access to sensitive data is granted only to authorized personnel.
  • Proper Use: Data will only be used for legitimate business purposes.
  • Secure Storage: All data will be stored in encrypted and protected systems.
  • Breach Notification: Any security incident must be reported to the information security officer within 24 hours.
  • Data Deletion: Data will be securely deleted upon completion of its use.

Zero Discrimination Policy

Purpose: To establish a discrimination-free environment at Virtue Ally, where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their personal characteristics or beliefs.

Definitions:

  • Discrimination: Unfavorable treatment of an individual or group based on characteristics such as race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or age.
